I’m Daphne Wrung…
and have been a stylist for 30 years and I am happy to say I still love my work. It has given me the ability to be my own boss, make a great career for myself and create a space for my clients to relax and be taken care of. Growing up we moved a lot and my love of travel was born. The different cultures and people were fascinating and one of my first memories of playing with hair was how different ours was from the ladies trying to braid our hair in Africa. They just laughed as it fell right out. Yes, I am one of those hair stylists who did her friends hair in high school and experimented on my own.
Life is a journey and what a wild one it can be! From a young age being creative was a way for me to express myself even when I couldn’t say what I was feeling. Being more introverted when I was younger, I learned the great skill of listening and it is invaluable when it comes to giving my clients what they want. Color is a passion of mine. Creating blondes and natural lived in looks are my specialty. The artist in me loves that the fashion colors are becoming more mainstream everyday.
Being open to change
and stepping outside of my comfort zone has made my journey evolve and continue to move forward. I love offering my clients a space where they are comfortable to be who they are and can express themselves without judgement – what happens in the chair, stays in the chair. I strive to continue to change and evolve to bring my clients a better, high quality experience, hair they will love and see a smile on their face before they leave. I specialize in color and achieving a clients hair goal while maintaining the hair's integrity and guiding my client on a healthy hair journey.
When I’m not working, I spend as much time as I can with my long-distance partner, Greg. We both love to travel, are fortunate to benefit from his work travel and are always on the search for different hot springs to enjoy.
